I am frustrated with how I was treated after spending $200 at their bakery. The food was very good and I received many compliments, but will not order from them again because of the hassle of my experiences. Moral of the story: if you order from this bakery, called to double and triple check your order. I thought calling in once to place the order was sufficient, I was wrong. If you want it cut, double and triple check that, too.
Really great food, customer service needs improvement. I ordered for two events, a bridal shower and baby shower. For the first event, the cheesecake types were correct. I had asked for the cakes to be cut, but they were not cut. I had to scramble to find utensils to cut them during the party. For the second event, I double checked on the phone to make sure the cakes were cut. They were not and I received resistance from the person on the phone (Mary, who I now realize is the owner) about opening them back up to cut them. My friend that picked up the cakes told me the person at the counter was very curt with her as well. After the cakes had been picked up, I realized the order was not correct. I called back and was told that they made what was on the ticket. She told me I could have called earlier to change the order, but at that time I was not aware that the order had been wrote down incorrectly. At this point, I had no evidence that she wrote it down wrong and I was tired of calling. She told me, "Don't worry, they'll eat it." I feel that is not the point.
Kelcy was amazing and met all of our needs when it came to our cake! She made it convienent for us to come in and taste the cakes and help us with our design. She made this process as stress free as possible and not to mention the cakes taste so delicious and her prices are affordable! :-) Our cake was perfect and a huge hit at our wedding! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
